On September 10, 2011, Party Animals and It’s Pawsitively Irresistible are proud to present The Hound Hunt – Sniffing Out Austin. This city-wide, dog-centric scavenger hunt will be the premiere event of the year! And it’s all benefitting the Austin Humane Society.

The Hound Hunt is sure to be fun for the whole family, including your furry family members! Teams must be comprised of 2-4 Humans, and up to 4 Dogs. You're not required to have a Hound during the hunt, but we think it will add for a fantastic time! Plus, there are extra points for doggy activities...

Sniffin' Registration begins at 2pm at Jo’s Coffee and Pawsports will be handed out at 3pm on a first-in-line basis. You will visit several Hydrant stops, where your team will need to sniff out the clues and participate in bartivities included in your Pawsport. You can hunt in any order, and not all clues must be solved. There will be a mix of clues, activities and photos to be taken - so make sure to wear comfy shoes and bring a camera!

At 6pm, teams will check into the Hound Round Up at metrodog, and join the after-pawty (which is free & open to the public)! Points will be tallied, winners will be announced and prizes handed out. Your entire team must be present to win!
